Ylmf OS

China is notorious for copying/cloning everything, now Chinese pirates hacked Ubuntu 9.10 to look exactly like Windows XP.

Ylmf OS

These hackers have probably released their so-called Ylmf OS because their previous release - a pirate version of Windows XP itself - was being cracked down on by Microsoft.

If you visit the site & navigate to the download page, there does seem to be 5 links to the ISO Image that you can download. It seems that the OS's GUI is purely Chinese, so this is only interesting for people who can read Chinese.

Another incident in the past showed that other Chinese pirates also have imitated Windows XP. Cloned in China reported on the case of Tomato Garden Windows XP, where the creator was jailed for 4 years and fined $147,000 USD.

At cnBeta.com you can see some screenshots & read more info (if you can read Chinese).
